Mindbody Alternatives for Pilates Studios (2026)

Short answer: This page compares alternatives. It is not the Mindbody price breakdown. For Starter, Accelerate, Ultimate, card fees, and the app fee, use Mindbody pricing. The alternatives below are Momence, WellnessLiving, Arketa, Mariana Tek, and Zen Planner. Each line is what that vendor prints, or “Quote only / not published” when they don’t. This is not a ranking.

Checked November 3, 2026 on each vendor’s pricing page.

What Mindbody publishes

Plans are per location. Mindbody’s US pricing page says users are not charged per person. The buttons on Starter, Accelerate, and Ultimate say “Let’s talk”.

Card fees, from the US pricing page: if you use Mindbody Payments, a rate plus a fixed fee of $0.10 to $0.30 per transaction applies in North America and Asia. The page does not print the percentage for the US. The Australia pricing page checked the same day does not print an Australian card rate. A separate Canadian dollar subscription is not on the US page; that page states the $79 USD entry price for North America and Asia. Canadian card percentages are not on that pricing page, so they are Quote only / not published here.

App fee, from the US pricing page: listing is free. The fee is 20% of the first purchase by a client who is new to the business and came through the Mindbody app, capped at $30 USD or 30 in local currency. Later bookings are commission-free, Mindbody says. The Australia page also describes a 20% first-purchase fee.

Data transfer: the US page says a data transfer service is available and that fees may apply. It does not publish the amount. Branded-app and higher-tier marketing prices are Quote only / not published on the pages checked.

Owner reports about leaving Mindbody, including cancellation stories, are collected on Momence vs Mindbody. This page does not add new complaint counts.

Why a studio looks elsewhere

The published gaps are the practical reason to compare, not a claim about which product is better:

Run the same inputs for Mindbody and the alternatives in the cost calculator. Unpublished rates stay out of the total until you enter a quote.

Alternatives

Momence

Momence’s Pilates page describes reformer booking, memberships, class packs, and a client app, with optional branded apps. Its pricing page says “Let’s talk pricing”. Subscription, card rate, and platform fee: Quote only / not published. Best for a Pilates studio that wants that feature set and will price it from a written quote. Full notes: Momence review. Momence

WellnessLiving

The WellnessLiving pricing page shows US plan prices. Starter is $69 per month, or $62 per month on annual billing, and includes one staff member. Business is $199 per month, or $179 per month billed annually, with unlimited staff. The starred prices, $39 per month and $35 per month, are a 2-month promotion (80% off, offer expires Nov. 15, 2026), not the regular price. BusinessPro is $349 per month, or $314 per month billed annually, and includes the white-label client app. The starred prices, $69 per month and $62 per month, are a 2-month promotion (80% off, offer expires Nov. 15, 2026), not the regular price. API access is $19 per month. Enterprise has no printed price: Quote only / not published. The pricing page does not publish the card percentage: Quote only / not published. A Canadian or Australian plan price is not on the page checked. Best for a studio that wants a printed US subscription and will ask for the card rate before signing. WellnessLiving

Arketa

Arketa’s pricing page shows Individual at $49 per month, billed annually (the page says save 17%), for 1 team member login, plus a 3% transaction fee and Stripe at 2.9% + $0.30 USD. A separate month-to-month price for Individual is not printed. Studio Core, Studio Growth, and Studio Suite say “Request a demo for pricing”: Quote only / not published. The page says plans renew month to month unless you choose an annual plan. Best for a solo instructor who can use the published Individual price, or a studio that will take a demo quote. Arketa

Mariana Tek

Mariana Tek’s pricing page describes Core, Core + Growth, and a full growth package, including branded iOS and Android apps on Core. It does not print a dollar amount for any package: Quote only / not published. It says payment processing is Stripe’s standard flat rate and that Mariana Tek does not add a fee on top. The Stripe percentage is not printed on that page, so the rate is Quote only / not published here. The page says typical onboarding is five to eight weeks. It says the product is used by boutique studios, including Pilates. Best for a studio that wants branded apps in the base description and will negotiate the subscription. Mariana Tek

Zen Planner

Zen Planner’s pricing page shows Studio starting at $99 per month, Essentials at $198 per month, and Ultimate at $348 per month. Website is starting at $99 per month, Engage is $249 per month, the branded app is $39 per month, and card readers are $39 per month. The active-member tiers page names that reader Lane 3600 and prints the rest of the USD ladder. Card processing is not given a rate on the pricing page: Quote only / not published. Zen Planner says billing is month to month, with an annual contract on request, and that multi-location pricing is quoted. Best for a US business that wants a published member-based subscription and will ask for the processing rate. Zen Planner
