Disclosure. This site is run by Johnny Ni, who also runs hesurepilates.com, a Pilates reformer export business that works with studios in the United States, Canada, and Australia. What Momence is
Momence’s site describes one platform for schedule, payments, marketing, and client activity. The Pilates studio page says studios can build a schedule of reformer classes, private sessions, workshops, and events, and can let clients reserve a reformer or mat spot. It also says studios can sell memberships, class packs, intro offers, and subscriptions, and can take card and direct-debit payments. The homepage adds on-demand experiences, lead capture, and campaigns tied to booking and purchases.
The same Pilates page says there is a free Momence app for booking and messaging, and optional custom-branded apps. It does not publish a price for the branded app. It says you can start free or book a demo. It does not say what “start free” includes, or what it costs after that.
Who it fits
Momence’s Pilates page names three groups: independent Pilates studios, reformer studios, and independent instructors. The homepage speaks to fitness and wellness businesses that sell classes, appointments, workshops, events, and on-demand content. This page does not rank Momence against other products. What stands out, and what is missing
From the pages above, Momence publishes these product points:
- Booking for classes, appointments, workshops, and events, including a reformer spot map.
- Memberships, packs, intro offers, and subscriptions.
- On-demand experiences, described on the homepage.
- Marketing that uses booking, attendance, and purchases, including lead follow-up. The Pilates page names a waitlist tool called Spotfiller. It does not publish a price for it.
- Card and direct-debit payments. Rates are not published.
What is missing on the pricing page is the number a studio would budget: subscription, card rate, platform fee, and cancellation terms. That is a transparency gap, not a statement that the product lacks those features.
Momence and Mindbody
Mindbody’s US pricing page, checked the same day, shows an entry price from $79 USD per month per location and does not publish Accelerate or Ultimate. Momence publishes no price at all. The side-by-side of what each company prints is on Momence vs Mindbody.
