WellnessLiving vs Mindbody (2026): Price, Fees and Which Fits a Pilates Studio

Short answer: WellnessLiving’s pricing page lists Starter at $69 per month for one staff member, Business at $199 per month for unlimited staff, and BusinessPro at $349 per month with the white-label app. Annual billing on that page is $62 / $179 / $314. Enterprise is quote-only. Mindbody publishes only Starter from $79 per month per location with unlimited staff. A solo instructor comparing sticker prices is looking at $69 versus from $79. A studio with two or more staff is looking at WellnessLiving Business at $199 versus Mindbody Starter from $79, then whatever unpublished Mindbody tier adds the marketing they need.

Promotion, not the regular price. WellnessLiving’s banner says “Get a FREE website + 80% off your subscription for 2 months!” and “Offer Expires Nov. 15th, 2026.” The plan blocks repeat “Save 80% for 2 Months” next to the starred prices. The starred prices, $39 and $35 on Business and $69 and $62 on BusinessPro, are a 2-month promotion (80% off, offer expires Nov. 15, 2026), not the regular price. The $69, $199, and $349 figures are what the page shows beside them.

Mindbody’s published subscription prices are in Mindbody pricing: from $79 USD per location in the US, and Go A$89, Core A$279, Growth A$369 in Australia. Accelerate and Ultimate are not published.

A Canadian or Australian WellnessLiving plan price is not on the page checked. Mindbody’s US page states $79 USD for North America and Asia and does not print a separate Canadian price list.

Staff limits

This is the difference you can see without a sales call. WellnessLiving Starter includes one staff member. Business is the first WellnessLiving plan on the page with unlimited staff, at $199 per month. Mindbody’s US page says the $79 entry price has no fee for additional users.

Email and text marketing campaigns are on WellnessLiving Business, not described as part of Starter. Mindbody’s pricing page puts automated email and text marketing on Ultimate, which has no published price. Both vendors’ entry plans include email notifications or reminders. Those are not the same line item as marketing campaigns.

Fees

Reformer and spot booking

WellnessLiving’s pricing page lists “Book-a-Spot” asset reservations and does not publish a separate price for it, or say it is limited to one plan. Mindbody’s pricing table shows “Client Pick-a-Spot” on Accelerate and Ultimate, and not on Starter. Accelerate’s price is not published. Neither page was a Pilates-only feature list. Whether a 6-reformer room map is included is something to confirm in a demo. The calculator can total the published subscription and the published Mindbody app fee. It cannot invent a spot-booking add-on that neither page prices.

What owners report

Capterra’s Mindbody-versus-WellnessLiving comparison page returned HTTP 403 when checked on November 3, 2026, so this guide does not quote star ratings or review counts. Public owner comments this site has already logged, with links, are on Momence vs Mindbody.

Switching and data migration

WellnessLiving’s pricing page says setup and data migration are free, and that you can upgrade from the dashboard. It does not publish a cancellation notice period. Mindbody says there is no onboarding fee, that data-transfer fees may apply, and that cancellation depends on the agreement and may require advance notice.

FAQ

Is WellnessLiving cheaper than Mindbody?

On the published entry prices, WellnessLiving Starter is $69 per month and Mindbody Starter is from $79 per month per location. Starter at WellnessLiving includes one staff member. Mindbody’s entry price does not add a per-user fee. WellnessLiving Business, the unlimited-staff plan, is $199 per month. Mindbody’s higher tiers are not published, and neither pricing page publishes a full card percentage.

Does WellnessLiving charge per staff member?

The pricing page includes one staff member on Starter and unlimited staff on Business, BusinessPro, and Enterprise. It does not show a per-person price above one staff member. The step up is the plan change from $69 to $199 per month.

Does WellnessLiving have a marketplace like the Mindbody app?

The pricing page lists Explorer, Reserve with Google, Wellhub, and ClassPass. It does not publish a 20% first-purchase fee. Mindbody does publish that fee, capped at $30.

Which is better for a reformer studio?

Neither pricing page says it is built only for reformers. WellnessLiving lists Book-a-Spot. Mindbody lists Client Pick-a-Spot on Accelerate and Ultimate, not on the $79 plan. Confirm a room map for your reformer count in a demo. This page does not pick a winner.

Can I move clients and card-on-file data from Mindbody to WellnessLiving?

WellnessLiving says setup and data migration are free. Its FAQ says many merchant processors provide encrypted card data for a nominal fee and does not print that fee. Mindbody says data-transfer fees may apply and does not print them.

Does WellnessLiving offer a branded app?

Yes, as the white-label Achieve client app on BusinessPro, priced at $349 per month, or $314 per month on annual billing. The starred Business prices ($39 and $35) and the starred BusinessPro prices ($69 and $62) are a 2-month promotion (80% off, offer expires Nov. 15, 2026), not the regular price.

Are there contracts?

WellnessLiving’s pricing page says it bills monthly or annually and that you can upgrade anytime. It does not publish a cancellation notice period. Mindbody says the contract depends on the plan and billing terms and that cancellation may require advance notice.
